Electricity Connections. Simplified.
Gordon Murray HQ – Eclipse Power Networks have been appointed as the IDNO for the brand new Headquarters (HQ) and technology campus, which is currently in construction in Windlesham, Surrey.
The proposed development will be +1.5MW and connected at 11kV via a looped DNO connection. Eclipse Power Networks will adopt the Contestable Works from the SSE substation and LV mains service cables up the individual meters across 3 buildings.
The new global headquarters and technology campus commenced construction in July 2021, with the first phase due to open in 2022.
Due to be fully completed by 2024, the all new state of the art facility will include facilities for vehicle design, development, advanced engineering and manufacturing.
The new headquarters and technology campus will be named Highams Park in memory of the site’s historic significance. It was farmed in the 18th century, before being used for Highams Hall, the private residence of the Leschalles family. From 1984 to 2007 it was the site of BOC’s global headquarters and was acquired by the Gordon Murray Group in 2020.
Automotive design legend Gordon Murray has unleashed his latest creation – a £1.65million two-seater supercar that aims to deliver ‘absolute driving perfection’.
Powered by a mighty specially enhanced 607bhp 3.9-litre V12 Cosworth engine, the new lightweight T.33 is the second supercar from the motorsport and motor industry maestro’s expanding empire and is expected to accelerate from rest to 62mph in under three seconds.
Restricted to just 100 ‘bespoke’ examples for customers, it is to be built at their new £50million state of the art technology campus and global headquarters at Windlesham in deepest leafy Surrey.
