Empowering Women in Utilities – Eclipse Power Group Shortlisted for Two Utility Week Awards

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news: Eclipse Power has been shortlisted for not one, but two categories at the upcoming Utility Week Awards through our partnership with the Women’s Utility Network (WUN)

Finalist: Best Employer for Women (under 500 employees)

We’re incredibly proud to be shortlisted for Best Employer for Women (under 500 employees)—a category that recognises organisations creating meaningful change and opportunity for women in the utilities sector.

While we know there’s still more work to do, this nomination reflects the commitment we’ve made behind the scenes to recruit, support, and retain talented women at Eclipse Power. It also affirms our ongoing efforts to create an inclusive and supportive workplace for everyone on our team.

Finalist: Business Champion – Sarah Owen

We’re equally excited to share that Sarah Owen, Director of Finance, Regulation and Compliance for the Eclipse Power Group has been shortlisted as a Business Champion—a category that honours exceptional leaders in back-office roles who drive excellence and deliver real impact across their organisations.

It goes without saying that Finance, Regulation and Compliance legend Sarah is a winner in our eyes regardless! Sarah’s leadership, dedication, and positive influence have made a lasting mark here at Eclipse Power, and we’re so pleased to see her recognised on such a prestigious platform. We’re all rooting for you Sarah!

What’s Next?

The winners will be announced at the Utility Week Awards ceremony on 27th June in London, and we will be sure to share our highlights!

This recognition marks a significant milestone in our journey as an employer of choice in the sector and we’re excited for what’s next!
