We require a Temporary Investment Analyst to prepare in-depth analysis and validation, and to quantify and prove the financial models behind our asset Investment strategy.

Eclipse Power Networks Ltd are an OFGEM licenced Electricity Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO) working within the UK energy industry. We design, own, operate and maintain extra high, high and low voltage electricity distribution network assets, providing power connections to residential, industrial, renewable and commercial customers across the UK.

This role requires an understanding of, and experience in;

  • Electricity Markets; structure, participants, support mechanisms, pricing dynamics
  • Electricity Network Income; Predicted v Billed income, forecasts, budgets, factors, financial modelling

Specialised tasks will involve;

  • Build financial IRR models for modelling investment opportunities
  • Conduct risk forecast analysis on existing portfolio and new assets / markets
  • Run financial models and produce Monthly / Quarterly Reports for existing assets
  • Support senior team in due diligence, deal execution and investment documentation

A suitable candidate must;

  • Have very strong quantitative analysis skills
  • Have very strong financial analysis and knowledge of excel (Power BI knowledge an advantage)
  • Have good presentation and communication skills
  • Be capable of analysing very large amounts of financial and numerical data and extracting, summarising and communicating key results
  • Work pro-actively individually, and collaboratively within the team
  • Be highly organised, follow procedures and meet timelines

 A suitable candidate will likely;

  • Have 2-3 years relevant experience
  • Come from a utility or financial background

 Salary; commensurate with experience
